How do over 50 companies innovate together?

House of HR launches an innovative ecosystem, Prodigy!

How do you ensure that over 50 companies within a group can digitalise efficiently, without losing their unique identity? House of HR, in collaboration with HRlinkIT, developed the solution: Prodigy.

    Centralise or decentralise?
    Centralise or decentralise?

House of HR, with over 50 subsidiaries across Europe, faced a huge challenge. Each brand had its own way of working, services, and technological needs. The question was: how can these companies benefit from the latest technologies without losing their unique direction? Additionally, House of HR wanted to reduce the costs and complexity of implementations and ensure that innovations were quickly and widely adopted across the group.

Ecosystem with a Standardised Data Model

Together with HRlinkIT, House of HR developed Prodigy, a smart ecosystem built around Bullhorn for Salesforce. This system offers each subsidiary – both the Powerhouses and the Boutiques – the freedom to choose from a buffet of digital tools, without being forced into any particular options. The power of Prodigy lies in its standardised data model, ensuring fast and seamless implementations.

    Ready-to-Use Solutions

Every recruiter is equipped with the best tools to work with. Prodigy is packed with useful tools and ready-to-use solutions, such as skill-based tagging, automatic profile enrichment, and omnichannel communication – where the candidate decides which channel they prefer to be contacted through.

Freedom of Choice with Economies of Scale

With Prodigy, each brand has the freedom to grow in its own way, while smartly leveraging shared knowledge, innovations, and cost benefits. The implementation of tools became 30% cheaper, and innovations spread rapidly across the group.

    How did we achieve this?
    How did we achieve this?

Building a concept like Prodigy for a group of over 50 companies is no small feat. House of HR enlisted the help of HRlinkIT to shape the vision and the concept.

    In short:

    1. HRlinkIT organised workshops with each Powerhouse to understand the unique processes, needs, and ideas of every brand. Each Powerhouse was listened to and closely involved in the process.
    2. The concept of a layered ecosystem began to take shape. During an extensive RFI/RFP process, the leading technology providers from across Europe were given the opportunity to present their solutions. Bullhorn for Salesforce was selected. However, the real challenge lay in realising the strategic blueprint. This was developed as a ‘concept car’ and became a reality in just three months.
    3. The layered ecosystem was up and running! It now forms the backbone of all brands across every country, offering enough flexibility to adapt to the specific needs of each brand.
    The first results
    The first results
    • Faster innovation: Thanks to the involvement of the Powerhouses, innovations spread rapidly across the group. There are now 50% more useful tools available.
    • 20% shorter implementation time: The first implementation at Boutique CTRL-F saw a 20% faster implementation time, and at Digitallstars, it was completed in just 10 weeks.
    • 30% lower costs: Thanks to joint contract negotiations with software providers, implementation and software costs have decreased by 30%.
    • Improved data quality: The standardised data model has led to better data quality, allowing companies to manage their processes more efficiently.
