Business Developer The Netherlands

Typical clients are all medium-sized and larger players active in the world of recruitment. HRlinkIT is market leader in Belgium and already has a large part of the market as a client.


Your role as a business developer
You will immediately become the commercial face of the company for medium-sized customers. Your focus is on New Business and Account Management. As a driven business developer, you are responsible for putting our innovative services on the market. You will be involved into the full cycle of the package and solutions we offer.
- As a business developer your most important task is to convince prospective clients of the added value of digitalisation and HRlinkIT. You will initially focus on the Dutch market, but the Belgian market will also fall under your responsibilities.
- You enter into conversation with prospects as a partner, not as a salesperson, and you think along with them in terms of content. Based on your expertise, you detect needs and guide your customers in making the right choices.
- You can present our services and information in a brief and convincing manner. You make your own presentations and give demos of our products, online or face-to-face
- In addition, you keep in touch with our existing customers, smell new opportunities and convert them into new projects (upselling/cross selling).
- You draw up the sales action plan and initiate sales activities in order to realise the predetermined sales objectives. This is done in cooperation with the sales director.
- Internally, you ensure good communication and information exchange at all times.
- You work mainly from your home office, but close to your customers.
- You regularly attend events and seminars and build up a valuable network of C-level contacts within the Dutch and Belgian recruitment world.
- You keep your finger on the pulse of new trends in the field and strive for professional development.
What do we expect?
We are looking for a driven, result-orientated candidate who fits the HRlinkIT culture.
- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree and have at least 3 years’ relevant experience in a commercial role, even in a different field.
- You have experience with C-level interaction and communication. They are your most important stakeholders.
- You have a natural commercial flair. You can convince and motivate like no one else.
- You are result-driven and see commercial opportunities even before they arise
- You have an affinity with technology, solution sales and HR.
- As a business developer, you can communicate clearly with different stakeholders in Dutch. A good command of English and/or French is an advantage.
